Hello my friends,

I'm having a weird summer so far. I was going to sit down and write this email in my usual chipper cheerful Nico style but that's not how I'm feeling at the moment. If you've visited the shop in the past couple weeks you may have noticed that my vibes have been off. It is absolutely NOTHING PERSONAL, just a reflection of my current inner world and I'm not a person who is able to put on a fake happy face.

There is a transition happening in my life that is outside of my control and every day I'm attempting to see the positive and approach the future with curiosity and creativity but that can be really fucking hard to do sometimes. Sorry for being vague and cryptic, I'm still figuring things out and will keep you posted as I do. No one is hurt or physically unwell and I will get through this just like I do everything else. Sorry if I'm being a bummer, just keeping it real with you as always.

I wrote those first two paragraphs above yesterday and finishing up this email today while definitely feeling lighter and more inspired. Riding the roller coaster of life always! Living life isn't always easy, but I know that you know that already.

ANYWAYS.... here are some shop updates that I want to share with you:

ONE - NEW SUMMER HOURS - CLOSED ON WEDNESDAYS! After giving this much thought I have decided to close on Wednesdays for the time being. I will spend this time outdoors connecting to the earth and myself - going to the beach and harvesting beautiful medicinal plants at Foxtrot Herb Farm in western Mass to dry and make medicine with.

I was there last week on the new moon and spending time with the plants was exactly the medicine I needed. I harvested chamomile, calendula, catnip, california poppy, oregano, marshmallow leaf, horsetail, tulsi, and others for small batch hand made magical herbal potions that I am excited to share with you at a later date.

TWO - We have a fridge filled with cold beverages to cool you off when you come for a stroll in the gardens! Try a Maple Sap Soda (yes made with carbonated maple water, sooo yummy and filled with minerals!) or a DRAM botanical sparking water in flavors like Holy Basil & Lemon or Citrus & Blossoms (my favorite!)

Our new little mini fridge has been a great addition to the shop this summer! Ignore the yogurt and hard boiled eggs and pickles and watermelon on the bottom shelf, that's my lunch lol.

THREE - Select dried herbs and mushrooms are 25% off! I'm assessing the herbs on our shelves and some of them sell faster than others which means the slow movers are on sale and ready to find new homes!

They are still potent and medicinal and will make excellent herbal medicine. All of the herbs with a piece of black tape across the bottom corner (I wanted shiny stickers but I'm using what I've got lol) are on sale - about 60 herbs including dandelion leaf, motherwort, comfrey, ashwaganda, reishi, and much more!

We are now open Thursday 12-5 / Friday 12-5 / Saturday 10-3 until further notice, probably sometime in September.
