It's my birthday and I'll have a tea sale if I want to! I'll probably cry too lol why are birthday's so emotional?!

I don't subscribe to dreading birthdays or feeling bad about getting older, I actually love it! I feel more and more myself as each year passes and that my friend is an absolute GIFT. Unraveling a lifetime of conditioning to become the authentic ME.

So what is it then? Is it the marking of time? Feeling like every year is shorter than the last? Watching my son get older too? Probably. For the most part I love living life (even through the grief, heartache, challenges, horrible days, and all the rest of it. This is the full human experience!) and I guess I get a little sad about one less year to live. Another trip around the sun.

Summer is actually a great time to begin or continue drinking herbal infusions - make a batch in the evening, steep it all night (for an incredibly nutritive brew) and drink room temp or over ice in the morning! Herbal tea will keep in the fridge for 1-2 days.

Next week marks the halfway point of 2026 (I can't believe it either) and its my birthday so WE'RE GOING TO BE CLOSED NEXT WEEK JUNE 30 - JULY 4!!

Wild Heart is truly a labor of love, I actually look at it like an immersive community based art project that needs to support me financially lol, but mama needs a break!

I am turning 43 on July 1 and am taking a little eastern NY, western MA, and southern VT trip to swim naked in rivers, eat delicious food, spend quiet time in nature, and harvest herbs at Foxtrot Herb Farm which I am super excited about.

I guess I will be working a little as I will be making fresh in the field tinctures with herbs that I harvest and probably take some back to Wild Heart to sell dried. But honestly spending beautiful summer evenings in the fields surrounded by herbs isn't work at all. I hope I see some foxes and a porcupine like last year :)

Wild Heart has been popping the past few months (so nice to see all of you coming out of a long winter hibernation) and did you catch my viral post last week?! Almost 400k views on instagram and facebook... wild! Still processing all the extra attention.
